Ride for
The Rescue
Join us for the Ride for the Rescue and support a great cause (New River Animal Rescue) while exploring America’s newest National Park by Jeep or other street legal 4X4! In the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve offers breathtaking landscapes, a rich coal mining history, and unforgettable off-the-beaten-path views.
For this benefit ride, bring your own Jeep Wrangler or other street-legal 4×4 vehicle and come explore the backroads of the New River Gorge with our team! The ride features an exciting half-day adventure covering approximately 75 miles of scenic country roads, rugged dirt trails, and challenging Jeep routes—all while raising funds for our local animal shelter. You’ll cross the New River Gorge from rim to rim twice, with views ranging from stunning mountain top overlooks to serene river valleys.
Throughout the ride, we’ll make stops at a ghost town, waterfalls, and historic coal mining sites. You’ll hear fascinating stories, local legends, and learn about the proud heritage of the area—all while making a difference for animals in need. So come out, bring your Jeep, and enjoy an epic day of adventure, nature, and community for a great cause!
Reservations are per machine. All proceeds benefit the New River Animal Rescue!

Our host and partner, ACE Adventure Resort, is offering half-price lodging for the weekend (buy one night get one night free)! Their wide selection of 50+ cabins have hot tubs and fire pits!
After the ride, we’ll head over to the Lost Paddle Lounge for dinner and libations. Join us, meet the team, our friends at the rescue, local legends, and other off-roading enthusiasts!

DIFFERENT CHALLENGE
While our Jeep Tours are more scenic and history-based, our Side by Side (UTV) Tours get you down and dirty in the mud! Follow your guide through our trail system with technical terrain adjacent to the New River Gorge National Park and put your driving skills to the test!
